Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt - Final Link Up

The Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt, hosted by Mary-Lou at  Patio Postcards, has come to an end.  I posted the 1st Link Up here and the second link up here.

Here are my final selections for the final link up:

1. A Plant/Tree with Thorn(s): In the first link up, I had two photos for this prompt, but I've picked the lemon tree for the final:

Lemon Tree

2. A Wordless Directional Sign:

A Wordless Directional Sign on a Box

3. Something Netted or Webbed: I have something netted (a bag which held oranges) as well as something webbed (a spider web in the garden)

4. Something Berry Berry Delicious:

5. A Bridge: A movie that was filmed in my country of birth and in which my step-father's brother is supposed to have been an extra!

6. A School:  This is a one-of-a-kind school!

Dancer's School of Quilt Repairs

7. Something that Dangles:

 10. White Flower(s):

11. Extraordinary Water - A hurricane turned tropical storm in August, which is quite extraordinary in southern California and buckets brimming with collected rainwater for Mama Cat to enjoy!

Rainwater in August!

12.  Summer Tools - Practically the only tool one needs to garden in the summer in southern California!

Garden Hose

13. A Sold or For Sale Sign (Not Necessarily a House) - it doesn't say For Sale, but, it's implied, I think:

14. Something that Rolls:

Alt A: Your Favorite Summer Taste:

Passionfruit

Alternate B: Your Choice - Summer means garden produce and canning!

Thank you, Mary-Lou for hosting the SPSH.  I really enjoyed participating in it, even though I was not able to go out and take pictures of actual bridges and schools, etc.

  2. Bless I am so glad you were able to join in this year's SPSH. You have some really wonderful finds in the search. My intention with the list is that everyone can join in no matter whether you venture near or far. Like Eileen I like your Dancer's School of quilt repairs. And the photo of Mama Cat drinking from the water buckets is perfect. Extraordinary water indeed for California. OH my that thorn!!!

    1. Thank you, Mary-Lou. I really enjoyed participating in the SPSH. I did pass by a couple of schools on my way to the library or the grocery store, but, I didn't want to stop and park the car to take pictures, so Dancer said he'll help me out! LOL. Besides, he had to be in at least one picture, didn't he? After all, Mama Cat was featured in one! Thank you for hosting the SPSH. :)

  4. An excellent selection of photos. I see Dancer in his professor role in the school of quilt repairs, not to be outdone by Mama Cat, in her capacity of official rainwater sampler!

  5. What a nice collection of photos for this challenge.
You really got a nice blueberry crop and the colors in the tomato photo are so nice a rich.
Of course, the Quilting School with Dancer has to be a favorite.

    1. Thank you, Debra. I have several baggies full of blueberries in the freezer, waiting for my daughter. She will eat them frozen as they are or put them in smoothies. I will make a few blueberry muffins, too. Ah, yes, Dancer's Quilting School! LOL.
