    1. Thank you, Diana; not trying to make anyone feel ashamed or bad in any way. I don't always follow my plans, but I try to! In any case, it is helpful to me to have at least an idea of what to make for my meals. :)

  2. Occasionally my husband has a different main meal to me as we don't always like the same things. Last evening i had lasagne and garlic bread and he had chicken and chips so I don''t bother making meal plans as I have what I fancy and so does he. You do well with your meals plans and those unexpected yummy extras from your lovely neighbour.

    1. Thank you, Eileen. My meal plans are subject to change, especially if my neighbors bring me something different! Or, when I don't feel like cooking what I had planned. When you and your husband have different meals, does that mean you have to cook two different dishes?

    3. I see. Sounds like a lot of work, Eileen, but, I suppose you can make a pan of lasagna and freeze portions of it for another time. I've been wanting to make some lasagna, myself, but, need to order the ricotta cheese, etc., that is needed.
