May Mini Photo Challenge

Eileen at A Bracelet of Days had issued a mini photo challenge with the theme "Curves" for the month of May.  A minimum of five photos (no maximum) with the theme "Curves".  She has taken some lovely, artistic photos and I took some very mundane ones, in comparison!  But, I had fun taking them and that's what matters, isn't it?

Star Jasmine Vine
Garden Bench Arm

Drawer Pull
"Kendiya" - Traditional Brass Watering Pot
Chair Back
Light Fixture
Thank you, Eileen, for the mini photo challenge!

  1. I like your curvy photos. The jasmine is my favorite.

  2. So much fun. I love them all, but I have two favourites...the jasmine vine and the drawer pull.

    1. Yes, they are. I found a lot of things with curves in my house, but, I didn't take photos of everything!

June's theme is "repetition", if you think you might want to participate. :)

  4. They're not mundane at all! You had fun and that's what it's all about. I love the jasmine one and the garden bench - I thought it was covered in snow at first glance but realised it couldn't possibly be with the temperatures you have 😂

Thanks for joining in with me Bless. This month's theme is 'repetition'.

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Eileen. :) No, the "snow" on the bench is what is left from an attempt to paint it white, about 14 years ago! LOL. I am looking forward to finding pictures for "repetition". It's going to be more challenging than curves, I think!

  5. Very nice examples of curves.

Is that the garden bench that helped prop up the peach tree? Or did you have a different one that you took the planks from?

    1. Thank you, Debra. Yes, that is the bench that provided the slats! There were two slats that had fallen down and the last slat of the seat was also taken out and used. That poor bench is reduced to just the frame and two slats, at this point! Maybe, one day, I might be able to get some slats for it to refurbish it. :)

  6. It's neat how you managed to find five subjects for "curves". I like the jasmine one, too and the watering pot is very elegant.

    1. Thank you, Bushlady. Among other things, the watering pot is used during traditional marriage ceremonies to pour water over the joined hands of the bride and groom.
