Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt - Second Link Up

It's time for the SPSH second link up!  I had almost forgotten about it, but, I've been a bit distracted by other things, recently!  I had, however, done one or two posts after the first link up, where I had posted photos taken for the SPSH, so I have included those here as well.

Here are my photos for the second link up:

#4 Blurred vision:

#4 Blurred Vision : My friend's fish pond

#5 The word summer:

#5 The word summer - summer reading challenge at the library

#6 An umbrella open or closed:

#6 An umbrella open or closed - Indoor "Patio" area in a parking structure

My post for photos for #6 An Umbrella, open or closed is here.

#7 A curving path:

I took a couple of photos for this prompt - the first was taken during a trip to the Autry Museum of the American West:

#6 A curving path - at the Autry Museum's ethnobotanical garden
The second was taken during a return visit to the SuihoEn Japanese Garden:

#6 A curving path - at the Japanese Garden

#9 A bridge:

Again, I took a couple of photos for this prompt at the Autry Museum and at the Japanese Garden; I think my final selection is the bridge at the Japanese Garden.

#11 Something crooked:

I think this bonsai tree with its twisted trunk qualifies as something crooked, don't you?

Alternates A: A bird or bee house:

I am posting this alternate of bird houses in a crafts store, for prompt #19 - A funny or meaningful bumper sticker, as I have not been able to find any bumper stickers!

Alternate A: bird houses

My first link up is here. (#3 Repetition, #8 Shells, #10 Something made of stone, #11 fish, #13 Two colors of the rainbow, #15 A broken chair/bench/stool)

I thought I was way behind with my photos, but, on checking the list and crossing off what I have photographed, already, I think I am doing OK!  I have eight more prompts to photograph and time till the end of September!

Thank you to Mary-Lou at Patio Postcards for organizing this photo scavenger hunt.  The link to her blog post includes links to the blogs of others who are also participating in the summer photo scavenger hunt.  I am off to check those blogs and see what others have posted; I invite you to do so, too.

    1. Thank you, Karen. That prompt gave me a bit of trouble, although a lot of my photos turn out blurred because I tend to move the phone when I take a picture! :D
