    1. Yes, time is definitely flying! I made my milk rice, this morning, and there's enough leftover for tomorrow's brunch. :)

  3. Those turnovers look yummy! I could tuck into one of those nicely! I have to curb my habit of watching cooking videos at night as they make me hungry when I don't really need to eat again!

    1. The turnovers were delicious! I get tempted by cooking videos, myself! I tell myself to eat some fresh fruit when I want desserts, but, sometimes, I am very tempted to bake myself a cake or something! :D

  4. You continue to have delicious and varied foods and some really thoughtful and tasty food gifts. Those jam filled pastries look very good :)
A lady on youtube that I like to watch sometimes makes a spaghetti squash and puts her meat sauce over it and it really looks good. I may try that as soon as spaghetti squashes are a more reasonable price. They're now $8.00 which is waaaay more than I'm willing to pay for a squash.
I cooked some chicken the other day and this morning I made a vegetable bean soup and added the leftover chicken to it so we will have that for the next few days.
It's really chilly here so it will be a good night for it.

    1. Thank you, Debra; the apricot jam pastries were delicious!
I remember trying spaghetti squash and not liking it (many, many years ago). Haven't tried it, since. I know I tried layering zucchini slices with spagetti sauce to make a sort of lasagna one time (didn't think much about that, either!) LOL.
Soup sounds good and I've been thinking of making some, myself. It's been a bit chilly, here, too. But, I took out a packet of teriyaki chicken to thaw, today - I'll have it with rice and some stir fried snow peas and carrots. :)
