February Review

Time to review February, before posting the March goals. February was a quieter month.

Spirituality:  Attended the monthly prayer meeting during the 3rd weekend of the month and I continued with daily devotions;  I consider this segment to be well plumped.

Daughter:  We've video chatted every evening and there have been several "Good Morning" phone calls (usually from me to her to wake her up) and a few "I can't wait to tell you my good news of the day!" calls from her!   Another well plumped segment of my life.

Environment:  I completed the first round of going through and cleaning the rooms.  I implemented weekly cleaning routines with varying success; I did better some weeks than others!  Did some weeding in the garden.

Family:  Mostly phone calls and social media, but met one aunt at the prayer meeting and had a visit from one cousin.

Friends: Went out to lunch with one friend, met other friends at the prayer meeting; stayed in touch over social media and exchanged phone calls and emails.  This segment, too, is well plumped.

Career:  Had a good month; the pace slowed down a little bit, which was nice.

Finances: Kept a spending log and I found one or two places where I could tighten up the budget!  Will try it out with the March budget.

Health: Did OK. Need to up the exercising and get more sleep!

Leisure/Crafts/Hobbies:  I did some sewing on my quilt; did a bit of knitting; and read 2 books (non-fiction) and looked through 4 crafts/organizing books.

Productivity and Time Management:  I got most things done in a timely manner.  Of course, I still feel I should get more done!

Goals and Achievements:  Not much achieved, but met a few mini-goals, so that's OK.

Over all, mostly balanced with one or two rather important areas needing more attention.   There's always room for improvement, isn't there?

How was your February?  Have you had an opportunity to look over the month and see how things were?

  1. I have a daily checklist of items that vary from exercising to meditation, study, communicating with friends and family, etc. There are a total of 16 items that I keep up with daily on a chart for the month. At the end of the month it is obvious in what areas I did well and where I need to concentrate my efforts. February was good in talking to friends and family, but not in getting out, visiting, etc., because of the bad weather!

    1. Carolie, a daily checklist is a wonderful way to keep track of things. Even weekly is good. Bad weather is a valid excuse for not getting out and about.
