My mammogram results arrived in the mail, today, and the results are NORMAL! What a blessing! Thank goodness! It's what I had been hoping and praying for! Yes, the blood test cancer markers have been good, but, seeing the results in writing had me crying happy tears! The first thing I did was turn on the altar light and give thanks. Then, I texted the good news to my daughter, who rejoiced with me.
I woke up at 9:00 a.m., today. The bags of donations I had set out last night had already been collected and a receipt left. I had a cup of tea and ate a mango for breakfast. Then, I watched the tail end of the first half of the Mueller Testimony and the entire second half. I am not willing to discuss politics on my blog, but, these are interesting times in which we live.
Friend M shared pictures of flowers in his garden:
Lunch was a salad with chicken; yogurt for dessert. I haven't decided on dinner, yet. Maybe some fried rice or scrambled egg on toast.
It's going to be another hot day. We haven't reached our high of the day, yet, but it is 101F at 2:00 p.m. It is still in the mid 80s inside the house, however, and I am comfortable with the ceiling fan on in the family room. But, not comfortable enough to do housework! That's my excuse and I am sticking to it! LOL.

Today, I am grateful for:
- Good mammogram results
- Answered prayers
- Mail carriers who deliver the mail, walking up and down the street in this heat
- Electricity to run fans, TVs, and computers
- A relaxed day
How is your Wednesday coming along?
That's fantastic news ... so pleased for you. It's 11:43pm on Wednesday so, after a hot and sticky day, I am off to bed.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Eileen. I hope you are having a good night's sleep and tomorrow will be a bit cooler, for both of us!Delete
So delighted to hear about your great mammogram results. No housework - just celebrate! You can always do the housework when the temperature goes down some. The housework isn't going to run away and abandon you, you know. It will be happy to wait for you and it likely won't be any worse than it is today!ReplyDelete
Thank you, Bushlady. Yes, I might just skip the housework, today and try to get up early, tomorrow, and vacuum before it gets too hot.Delete
That’s fantastic news about the mammogram, Bless. 😊ReplyDelete
Mr. M’s flowers are beautiful.
I had a lazy Wednesday. Finished one book (Donna Leon’s Death in a Strange Country) and then started Dear Mrs Bird by A. J. Pearce.
I watched a little bit of Muller’s Testimony and decided to watch the entire thing later.
Thank you, Nil. It was a big relief to know that everything was normal.Delete
I'm glad you got to relax and read, today. That's what I did too! I finished reading "Dear George, Dear Mary" by Mary Calvi.
That's fantastic news Bless. I'm so thrilled for you. XxReplyDelete
Thank you, Jules. I feel very relieved as well as thankful and blessed. :)Delete
Hallelujah! Rejoicing with you xxxReplyDelete
Thank you, Angela. Thank you for rejoicing with me and for keeping me in your prayers.Delete
So happy for your test results! God is good.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Anne. Yes, He is.Delete
So great everything is good! Very happy for you☺ReplyDelete
Thank you, so much, Natalia. Hope you are keeping cool!Delete
Hooray! So happy to hear the good test results and may there be many more like that.ReplyDelete
Do you think today will be the day the AC turns on?
Thank you, Live and Learn.Delete
Ha, ha, we'll have to see. Yesterday was a "two fans" day - both the ceiling fan AND a stand fan, focused directly at me! Today is supposed to be slightly cooler. We are even having a very light drizzle as I type this! Barely enough to wet the ground, but enough to make it nice and muggy!
Very good news, indeed!ReplyDelete
Thank you! It truly is a blessing.Delete
Glad to hearReplyDelete
Thank you, Akasha.Delete
Those zinnias are gorgeous. I am happy for you about your latest news. Your diet always sounds so healthy, especially your desserts.ReplyDelete
Aren't they lovely? I think I should plant some zinnias, myself!Delete
Are you doing OK in this heat? Although, today is a bit cooler - we got a little drizzle, this morning; did you get any?
Thank you! I got my lab test results today and they were good, too, for the most part. I need to lose weight, though! (But, then, I knew that, already!)
Congrats! Truly a blessing. Keep cool! AndreaReplyDelete
Thank you, Andrea. Yes, truly a blessing and an answer to prayers. :)Delete
Thank God, Bless. What a relief for you to get the news of your normal mammogram.ReplyDelete
I am so happy for you.
Thank you, Debra. Lovely to hear from you again. Hope all is well with you.Delete
