On the way home, I stopped to put gas to the car. Gas was $2.69 per gallon; I put a little over 10 gallons to fill the tank (I had about quarter tank left); it came to $28.12.
I spent the afternoon and early part of the evening working on office work. There was a conference call on one of my current projects, several emails regarding my new assignment, another phone call on a different project, etc. I've promised a finished product by the end of the work day, tomorrow, on one of my projects, so, I've put a bit of pressure on myself!
Later in the evening, I put water to the front garden, did a load of laundry, spoke with my half-sister who called to see how I was and to invite daughter and me out to lunch on daughter's next visit home, called a friend of mine for a chat, emailed another friend, and video chatted with my daughter.
Today's decluttering:
July 12 Decluttering |
"On the twelfth day of July, Bless did declutter,
Twelve assorted books,
Eleven other books,
Ten additional books,
Nine of daughter's books,
Eight rubber stamps,
Seven random items,
Six printed booklets,
Five magazines,
Four copper pans,
Three books on cross stitch,
Two painted boxes,
And a sewing machine with a broken bobbin"
Hope you enjoyed singing with me!
Today, I am grateful for:
- Completing the 5th radiation treatment and still feeling fine.
- Being able to work from home while I am undergoing treatment.
- Phone call from my half-sister.
- Keeping in touch with friends.
- Video chatting with daughter.
How was your Tuesday? Did you have a good day? Did you enjoy the sing along?
It's good that you are still feeling well after your treatment. I will now have that song going through my head for the rest of the day. ☺ x
ReplyDeleteLOL. That song is definitely one of those they call an "ear worm"!
DeleteI'm glad you're still feeling okay. My day was worse than usual. But I took my son to the doctor and she put him on some additional meds trying to get his asthma and allergies under control.
ReplyDeleteJess, I'm sorry you had such a bad day. Hope today is better. Just take it one day at a time. Also, hope the additional meds will help your son feel better. (((HUGS)))
DeleteDean Koontz, Nelson DeMille, French and Spanish reference books, Twilight and Artemis Fowl... are you sure you didn't come declutter MY house by mistake?!?
ReplyDeleteGlad you're continuing not to suffer from side effects from the radiation, Bless! Have a wonderful day, I hope your work project goes well!
LOL. I'm pretty sure I decluttered my house! :D
DeleteThanks, Nathalie; hope you have a great day, yourself.
I am definitely singing the declutter song.. ha
ReplyDeleteProud you are still tolerating the radiation treatments with little or no side effects. Praying this will continue all the way through..
Sounds like you have been a busy bee with your work.. Proud your able to work..
Take care ..
All is good here. Have been in the garden , picking veggies and putting up veggies.
Made the blueberry crunch dessert..So good. And I agree with you, I will be making blueberry pancakes and muffins.. Love blue berries.
Glad to have you sing along with me, Judy. Yes, it's a blessing the treatments are going so well. Glad to hear your garden is coming along well and you are able to harvest and put up your veggies. I know you'll feel so good when you open a jar of vegetables in the winter and know it is what you grew and preserved.
DeleteGood job letting go of those books. That is so hard for me. And when I do let some go, I just replace them with new ones, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteHi Dianna, lovely to hear from you. Books are hard to let go of, aren't they? I got to a point where I had to decide if I was going to buy additional bookcases or get rid of some books! Considering the fact I have about 10 bookcases...
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog. Hope to hear from you again.
