Wednesday's Happenings

I had a rather disturbed night of sleep, last night.  I slept, but kept waking up, practically every hour!  Not a very restful sleep, at all.

Office work kept me busy most of the day.  I did manage a short nap in the afternoon.  But I got my work assignment done and updated my supervisor.

Afterwards, I washed the dishes that had accumulated in the kitchen sink, decluttered a bit, and video chatted with daughter.

June 15 Decluttering
Today's declutterings included:
3 skirts
5 blouses
2 books

Midway through the month, decluttering just 10 items a day, I have already tossed/recycled/set aside for donating a total of 150 items.  Another 150 items to go to meet this month's decluttering goal!

Today, I received the authorization for the referral for a bone density test.  Need to call, tomorrow, to schedule it.  I also received the paperwork to take to my consultation with the radiation oncologist, next week.

Today, I am grateful for:

- Being able to complete my work assignment in good time.
- Medical insurance.
- An afternoon nap.
- Video chatting with daughter.
- Phone calls from a cousin and an aunt.

Plans for tomorrow include going for another blood test.

How was your Wednesday?

  1. BLess I am so sorry you had the restless sleep.. Know you are tired. Hope this will all be over real soon. Praying for you.
You are doing a good job with your de-cluttering.
Best wishes with your bone density test.

    1. Thank you, Judy. My sleep patterns are all messed up! But, hopefully, it will all get better soon.

Hope you are having a good week.

  2. My Wednesday included a long overdue bone density test! I won't have the results for 2 weeks. The table was really hard and since I sometimes have back pain, it took an effort to roll over onto my side to get up and swing my legs over. Afterwards I went to pick up one or two items in the grocery store and also had a look in the charity shop, where I found 3 books (one that my friend will love), and a CD and a glass casserole lid that fits my small frying pan. Well, I had to sort out my donations when I got back home as I felt guilty about bringing in more stuff, so today I took 2 boxes down there, including a table lamp that I bought in a yard sale years ago and that was sitting in the basement. I also mailed granddaughter's birthday card for next week.

We are having some of your weather, hot! Could use a shower or two, though, since I'm not fond of watering when the mosquitoes are out after supper.

    1. Bushlady, that reminds me, I was going to call and make the appt. for my bone density test today! But I forgot! Will have to remember to call tomorrow. Hope your results are good.

Glad you found useful items at the charity shop and you took 2 boxes down, in return. I am still sorting through my stuff and want to have several bags ready to go before I call for a pick up.
