Yesterday (Saturday), I was quite productive. I went grocery shopping at two stores; I cooked; I did two loads of laundry, including the bath mats; I ran the dishwasher; I scrubbed the stove, including under the burners; I wiped the kitchen counters and shined the sink; I cleaned my bathroom (sink, toilet, the undersink cabinet, window ledge, swept and mopped the bathroom floor); cleaned the litter box; made a phone call to a friend; sewed a bit on daughter's quilt; and video chatted with daughter. Unfortunately, later in the night, my asthma flared up and I needed to take my rescue inhaler.
Today, I woke up relatively early for a Sunday for me and had a cup of coffee. But I didn't feel quite up to doing anything and went back to bed to lie down for a bit and fell asleep! Didn't wake up until much later in the morning! Even then, I had to take the rescue inhaler, so I took it easy.
I played on the computer for the rest of the morning. Sewed on daughter's quilt in the afternoon. Washed my hair. Put away yesterday's laundry and did another load. Tidied up my bedroom a little (lots more to do). Cooked the cabbage I had been meaning to cook for some time now. Wiped the stove top and counters, again. Handwashed today's dishes. Swept and mopped the bathroom again since the cat tracked some dirt from the litter box. Swept the laundry area (need to wipe the washer and dryer). Wrote to a friend and video chatted with daughter. Took a walk around the garden and picked the last two oranges. My little orange tree has kept me supplied with fresh oranges for several months, this year.
Did you have a good weekend?
Hi Bless,
ReplyDeleteTake it easy... You did alot of work in one day, and really accomplished a lot. I noticed you said, you had to use your rescue inhaler...do you have asthma or other lung disease? I have asthma..it really stinks.. ha..
Hope you have a nice day.God bless
Judy, yes, I have asthma. I have a maintenance inhaler which I use twice a day, morning and evening. But, occasionally, like this past weekend, I need to take the rescue inhaler. I hope you are having a good day, today. Take care.
DeleteIt's good to take it easy sometimes. Sometimes it is much needed. Hope you're doing better now.
