Today, I took the second loaf of sunflower seed bread, a jar of strawberry jam and a stick of butter to the office with me to share. There were happy co-workers. :)
After work, I went to the UPS store to mail a package and then, put gas to the car. After I came home, I took over a jar of jam to my neighbors. After that, I went on the computer to video chat with my daughter.
I was so happy I was able to share the bread and the jam with my co-workers and to share a jar of jam with my neighbors. To have sufficient to share with others - that is the definition of abundance, for me. And the bread and jam are frugal gifts that are much appreciated by my colleagues and neighbors.
How was your Tuesday? Did you have a good day?
The monetary value of those things really doesn't matter at all; people are always thrilled when someone thinks of them, and bothers to share delicious produce - especially when time and effort has gone into making them oneself.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right; people do appreciate when others think of them and share, especially if it is something they've made. :)
DeleteThank you so much for continuing to read my old posts and comment on them. :)
It's a pleasure. I'm enjoying dipping in and out!
