Monthly Photo Challenge: April "Weather"

Eileen at A Bracelet of Days set "Weather" as the theme for April.  I thought it would be quite a challenge for me because we generally don't experience a lot of changing weather in April, but, here's what I was able to photograph:

The weather was sunny, some days, with cloudless, clear blue skies:

So clear one could see the moon in the afternoon:

Days with blue skies and fluffy white clouds:

Then there were days when the weather changed from sunny to cloudy:

Cloudy days:

Even a few rainy days:

Back to sunny, warm days:

Then there were days when curling up on a mound of still-warm-from-the-dryer laundry felt good:

Thank you, Eileen, for organizing the monthly photo challenge.   I had fun trying to capture the weather!

  1. Beautiful blue sky. 💙
We're rarely short on rain here, but I did need to water the raised bed yesterday!
It was very selfless of Dancer to keep the laundry warm. Boo did the same for me, yesterday :)

    1. Thank you, Jules. We've had a wetter than usual winter and spring, but now, there's no more rain in the forecast and the garden has to be watered 2-3 times a week.
We are so lucky to have 'laundry warmers', aren't we? :D

  6. Great photos! Dancer looks very regal resting on the laundry! I've been wondering how Eileen is, as I've not seen a post on her blog for a couple of months. I gather she is well?

    1. Thank you, Celie. Dancer does enjoy some warm laundry to lie on! Eileen has been having some computer issues; she is, apparently, locked out of her blog and isn't allowed to comment on other blogs, either!

  8. Great photos of changing weather. Dancer is obviously dreaming of sunnier days while he holds down the laundry in case it cools off.

    1. Thank you, Bushlady. I didn't think I'd have much changes in weather to photograph, but, I was happy to have some cloudy and rainy days to add to the sunnier days. Dancer likes it sunny and warm. :)

  9. Well done on the challenge. You got a good variety of photos. The blue skies are beautiful, and the rain bouncing off the path is good. It can be hard to capture that.
