I like the deep pink of this rose and how the petals seem to be edged with pale pink in this photo.
Thursday was a productive day, even though I had a relatively relaxed morning. I woke up, once, at 7:00 a.m., turned off the porch lights and fed the cats, briefly considered staying up, but knew I hadn't had enough sleep and so, went back to bed and slept until mid-morning! Then, replied to blog comments, visited and commented on a few blogs, caught up on some news, etc., and before I knew it, it was afternoon!
After brunch (salad), I started on the kitchen cleaning. I did it in sections, over the course of the afternoon and early evening, a few doors at a time (to keep my hands from cramping), but, I washed almost all the kitchen cabinet doors. I didn't do the doors to the cabinets above the fridge or the ones above the stove, since I can't reach them, easily. But, the rest of the cabinet and drawer fronts were wiped down. Later, I mopped the kitchen floor and washed the kitchen rug and bathroom mats, etc.
I called the Temple, today, to find out if it would be possible to participate in this weekend's religious ceremonies online, but, was told that it will not be possible to do so. I didn't think it would be available online, but, thought I'd check, just in case. I am not yet willing to attend Temple events in-person (today's new Covid case count was over 3,400).
In the evening, I started the car as it has not been started since I drove it to pick up the groceries last Friday and let it run for a few minutes while I walked around the garden and checked on the plants.

The euphorbia tirucalli branches on the ground are what were pruned; they are waiting for M to put them in the green yard waste bin to be collected, next week.
Afterwards, I cooked the chicken I had kept to thaw (made a curry), and had it with the last two parathas I had in the freezer. I was planning to make coconut roti, but, I was feeling a bit too tired by then to make roti. The frozen parathas were easier.
After dinner, I chatted with friend R on the phone and video chatted with my daughter.
