Dancer Kitty Sleeps on the Job!

I am trying to tie my quilt and Dancer, as usual, came to "help" me.  His helping means I can't spread the quilt all the way on the bed!

But, I caught him sleeping on the job!

Caught Napping!
I suppose I should be thankful he's sleeping and not pouncing on the yarn!

"If I cover my eyes, Mummy can't see me!"

(Actually, he's shielding his eyes from the glare, as he's facing the window).

A few minutes later:

"Oh, did you want me off the bed, Mummy?  OK, I'll sleep on the quilt; it's more comfortable"

Thank you for helping, Dancer.  :)

    1. That it is, Jules! Later, he woke up and played with the yarn and absconded with it (it's somewhere under the bed, now!)

    1. I think he had a point, Debbie. You have a bed and a quilt - what's better than taking a nap?

  3. I've been too selfish and caught up in myself to have visited recently, but I had to come by after hearing about the awful fires in California. I hope you are safe. x

    1. Yes, I am, Lyssa. The fires are not in my immediate neighborhood. Thank you for checking on me. :)

    1. Thank you, Regine. He's actually my daughter's pet, but she couldn't take him with her when she moved up north to go to college, so he is with me. :)

  5. Dancer looks adorable shielding his eyes from the light! We have been visited at night by an orange cat who comes within the range of the woodshed motion light. If I am awake I have to look out to see if there is a wild critter, but it is often just our visiting "moggy". We are wondering which neighbour he belongs to.

I haven't been visiting your blog recently because my computer was so slow, especially on the browser, but DS did some investigating during his visit, and tonight I found something else to try and suddenly all seems to be well, after weeks of problems!
We just celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving, and amazingly the weather was mild and sunny here and the family had two good beach days, even swimming in the river! We are so blessed.

    1. So glad you had nice, mild weather for your Thanksgiving celebrations. Glad, too, you found a way to overcome the computer being slow. I've missed hearing from you, but figured you were busy with Thanksgiving preparations, etc.

I, too, have a visiting orange cat. I call him Spicy Marmalade (the title of a song my daughter likes); but he's Marmalade for short.
