Friday's Productivity

Friday was a productive day.  I spent a good part of the day doing office work.  I was able to complete this week's assignment and send it in by the end of the day.  I am now ready to relax over the weekend and take Monday off, without worrying about work.

I listened to some music for part of the day and even sang along, albeit a bit off key!

Later in the evening, I spent a pleasant hour or so making a card for my cousin's daughter's baby shower, tomorrow.  I had some help with making the card, of course:

Selecting the Paper

He helped to select the paper by plopping down on it, tried to eat some of the trimming, swatted my hand when I took it away from him, and generally supervised me.

Ah, but card making is tiring:

Sleeping on the Job!

I will show the gift and the card I made, tomorrow.

One of my aunts called and we had a long chat, which was nice.  I also video chatted with my daughter.  She was tired after a long week.

Friday's gratitude:
- Completing my week's works assignments
- Listening to music
- Video chatting with my daughter
- Having fun making a card
- Having help with the card making

How was your Friday?

  1. Dancer is awesome! I love that he helped with the cards. I bet your singing sounded great. When I sing I take comfort in Psalm 100 - make a joyful noise unto the Lord! It may not be in tune, but it's joyful and I'll settle for that!

I am always in awe of your ability to craft! x

    1. Any time I sit down at the table to do something, he's there, lending a helping paw! :D Oh, I like that quote! And I was singing some hymns, as well, so that is good. I hope you are doing well and Bear is, too.

  2. I look forward to seeing your gift and card. I am in awe of the wonderful sewing, knitting, crocheting, and all manner of needlework that you do. I went to all the links you provided last night and wow....what a feast for the eyes. You are so talented. And I loved your cards. Who wouldn't want a homemade card that has so much effort and thought put into it. They are lovely.

You had a very productive day completing your work assignments. And Dancer didn't do too badly either. My kitties like to think they are good helpers also, when I start up with the paper and glue.

    1. Thank you, Susan. Glad you liked the cards - you are such a talented card maker, yourself. I was searching for a picture of the thank you card I had made when I was at my daughter's apartment, once, when all I had was some junk mail as my supplies, but I couldn't find it to link. I think I need to figure out a better labeling system!

  4. Cats always want to be in the middle of things, don't they? I don't know if it is because they want to be near us or they just want to control things? :)

  6. Well, I thought that the lovely card you showed on Facebook was all your own work but now I see that Dancer did a lot to help design it!
