It rained, today! A proper thunderstorm, even! Such a blessing for this parched, drought-stricken area!
Yesterday, I didn't write a blog post; it was a quiet day, I went to work, I video chatted with daughter, I wrote to a friend, and I went through the week's grocery ads.
Today, too, was a relatively quiet day. I went to the office, came home, had a neighbor drop in for a quick visit, video chatted with daughter, and emailed a friend. But today was a special day, too, because of the rain and because, today, my daughter sat for her last final exam of this semester, which means she has now completed the first year of grad. school! She has to do an internship over the summer as part of her program requirements, but, the first year of academic courses have been completed. :)
Today's gratitude list includes:
- Daughter completing the first year of her grad. studies
- A safe commute to work and back
- A bit of a stressful situation at work being resolved in a satisfactory manner
- Neighborly visits
How was your day, today? Did you have a busy day? Or was it a relatively quiet day?
Yay! Congratulations for your daughter! My Thursday was good. Went shopping and Little Wolf did good until the end. Played and had fun.ReplyDelete
