Dancer Sleeps It Off

Cat naps!

Dancer was sleeping on the sofa and I tried to take a picture of him while he was sleeping, but he heard me and opened his eyes to see what I was trying to do.

Hey!  I'm trying to sleep!
He squirmed a bit when I took the first picture.  And then, promptly went back to sleep!

He is recovering from his misadventure with the asparagus fern frond.  Daughter and I are both glad that he seems to be OK.

Today was a busy day at the office and I was tired when I came home.  I took the trash cans to the curb, collected the mail from the mail box and spent the evening relaxing in front of the TV (news, documentary about a historic house in England, and a dance competition) and video chatting with daughter.  My cousin called to see how Dancer was, and I spoke with her for a bit, put away the laundry from yesterday, and made French toast for tea.  And then, I wasn't hungry for dinner, so I just ate some grapes.

Today, I am grateful for:
- A cat who is feeling OK
- A productive day at the office
- A relaxed evening at home
- Favorite TV programs
- Cousins who call

How was your Monday?  Did you have a good day?

  1. My 3 year old little lady is sitting on my lap right now and cooing over your cute cat! She cant get enough of looking at these pictures you posted! (She is a true animal lover!) So glad he is feeling better after the fern incident. :)

    1. Dawn, so happy to hear that she likes the pics. :) And Dancer is back to his usual self this morning.

  2. I'm glad Dancer is doing good. My Monday was good. Got a little work done around the house, stayed up too late caught up in a good book.

    1. Jess, hope you were able to sleep in a bit after staying up too late. Or perhaps you can get in a nap when Little Wolf is napping.

  3. so happy your cat is ok
and proud you rested.. Some times we just need a rest.

    1. Judy, thank you. I guess I am still recovering from the sinus infection.
