I have made a start on the SPSH with a few photos of things around the house:
No. 5. The Art of the Fold: Both these items are origami pieces my daughter had made in high school:

The tulip has been placed in front of a photograph of my mother since the day it was made!
The second item is a bit battered - I found it when I was going through a bag of old school work my daughter had set aside to recycle and rescued it! I call it the calculating heart, because, she made it from a scrap of paper on which she had worked out a math problem!

I have tucked it into the front of a framed photograph of my mother and myself.
No. 7. What's in Bloom: This is just some of what's in bloom in my garden, this week:

There were other flowers, too, including zucchini flowers, but, I didn't take photos of them. Maybe another day.
No. 9. Something Older than You: There's isn't much in this house (unless you count the house, itself) that is older than me! I took a couple of pictures of two of them, but, then, realized that I had used those same items in a previous
Photo Scavenger Hunt (for No. 6 Vintage)! These are the new photos I took, but, I think I will try to find something else to photograph, because I am not sure if using the same items (even if the photos are taken anew) is allowed!

I know the item doesn't have to be something in the house, but, I am not yet going out and about unless I have to. I shall have to think a bit more about this prompt!

I haven't made a final selection for this prompt (or any of the others) but, I rather like the canning jar lids!

DeleteI don't think it matters if you've photographed an item for a previous hunt as long as you have taken new photos during the timescale for the current hunt.

Thank you, Eileen; yes, I took new photos of the same objects, but, I'll see if I can find something else, too. If not, these can be my "fall back on" photos! Provided Mary-Lou says it's OK. :)

ReplyDeleteHad coffee with friend this morning, then into the store. Because the government has opened things up a wee bit after weeks of restrictions, the general items were no longer cordoned off, so there was more than just the groceries to investigate. It was quite exciting but I was there to stock up on food.

DeleteGlad you were able to have coffee with a friend and then, go to the store. Good to hear that restrictions are being slowly lifted over there. Our state is scheduled to open up fully on the 15th! I am not sure if that is a good idea or not! I will continue to wear a mask and be cautious, just in case!
Mary-Lou says OK! The SPSH is all about fun & being part of like minded folks, the "rules" are the least of anyone's concerns. I like your art of the fold ...
