Eileen sets monthly photo challenges and this month's theme was "Beginning with D". I was mostly resting in bed, this month, so all of my photos were taken at home and mostly from my bed! But, these are my "Beginning with D" photos:
Dancer - Cooling off on the tiled floor |
Dancer Dressed Up |
Dough - Pie Dough made into a pie crust |
Dough - Zucchini Bread Dough waiting to be formed into a loaf |
Delicious Dessert 1 - Homemade Peach Pie |
Delicious Dessert 2 - Tiramisu |
The theme for July is "Many".
Great job Bless, especially considering your circumstances!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martha. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get enough photos, but, managed!
DeleteDancer looks adorable in the 2nd photo. What is he wearing there? A scarf? 😁
ReplyDeleteHe does look cute, doesn't he? Yes, he's wearing a scarf. It's one that I knitted for my daughter back when those fuzzy yarn scarves were popular. Dancer took it, one day, and it is his scarf now! He carries it around the house, from room to room, meowing loudly - every time we leave the house, if only to go out into the garden, and every night! Silly cat! :D
DeleteI guess that scarf is Dancer's prey. Cats can be so funny at times. :)
DeleteIt's his security blanket and his "lovey" :D
DeleteWell done Bless. Obviously the ones of Dancer are my favourites ... he certainly has style the way he is wearing that scarf!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the challenge x
Thank you, Eileen; Dancer tends to steal the show, doesn't he? :D Looking forward to July's challenge. :)
DeleteI read your reply about Dancer and the scarf. Our son once lodged with a family whose cat specialized in dragging socks or ties around the house.
ReplyDeleteThe rain continues, night and day with occasional breaks, but I wouldn't swap it for the extreme heat out in British Columbia, where the town with the record high temperature has now been devastated in a wildfire. Hard to imagine losing your home and much of the town itself.
Dancer only likes knitted scarves - there were others before this current scarf!
DeleteI, too, would take the rain instead of the record heat and wildfires, provided the rain doesn't result in flooding! Stay safe, Bushlady; hope your son and his family are safe, too.
Well done for managing to participate again, despite being confined to barracks still. You got a good selection! (I think my slice of tiramisu must have got lost in the post...)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lady Ella. Your slice of tiramisu is probably still in quarantine in the air mail parcel post office! :D
DeleteGreat pictures. You can't go wrong with a grouping that includes Dancer and Delicious Desserts that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteDancer is sure a cutey with his little "blankey"
Thank you, Debra. :)
