I went to the office, this morning and had a fairly productive morning.
In the afternoon, I went to see my primary care Physician Assistant, for a routine follow-up appointment. My weight had gone up since my last visit, but my B/P was good and my sugar level was low; apparently, a little too low. The PA was concerned. I had gone after breakfast, but before lunch. The PA made some adjustments in my medication dosage, cutting it in half. I am to take daily readings and see her in one month's time, in mid-January. I also had a blood test; I should find out the results on my next visit.

On my way home from the clinic, I stopped at the pharmacy to pick up a medication that was ready. Then, I picked up some lunch from the nearby Chinese restaurant - noodles and stir-fried beef. Came home around 3:45 p.m. and finally ate lunch!
Then, relaxed a bit, brought in the trash can, put away the laundry from yesterday, did another load and hung it up to dry, and watched TV.

How was your Tuesday?
Yay, for no difficulties at the pharmacy. You haven't been so lucky in the past.
ReplyDeleteYes, exactly! I went again, today, because something else was ready and I know I'll need to go again, either tomorrow or Friday for the rest of it. But I don't mind how often I have to go if they have the proper medications ready for me to pick up!
DeleteYou want to finish up Tuesday's To Do list. I would like to start Monday's list. *laugh* You are doing so much better than I am. Have a great week, Bless.
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny, Susan. But you accomplished other things in the meantime. You did the winter equivalent of "make hay while the sunshines", which is "go shopping while the roads are clear of snow!" :)
DeleteOh boy, no difficulties at the pharmacy is something to celebrate! I'm happy for you.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonder, isn't it? Those pharmacists do try, I know. And now that it is just my regular meds, I am more patient with them. :)
DeleteCongratulations on a well done celebration. I'm delighted you decided to buy new glasses. I recall you break glassware regularly, so they will be used and enjoyed. I hope you haven't been left with an over abundance of food. Such a pity to have all the effort wasted. Do you ever take items that travel easily, like brownies, to the office to share?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Hon. :) Yes, I think I break at least one glass every other month or so! :D No, this time, there wasn't too much food leftover. Everyone took a plate home, I kept a little for my use during the week, and froze the rest, in small portions. Yes, I do take leftover desserts to the office, at times. Right now, though, our office is inundated with sweets!
