We watched Midnight Mass from the Vatican and stayed up late on Christmas Eve. Then, slept in on Christmas morning.
We spent a quiet morning and afternoon at home.

In the evening, we went over to my cousin's home for a family Christmas gathering and dinner. Afterwards, we went to one of my friend's house for a second Christmas gathering and more dinner! Except, I was too full to eat another meal, so my friend served me a plate of food to bring home (she actually gave enough for both daughter and I for another meal, including dessert!)

| Hostess Gift for my Friend |
It was a lovely Christmas Day, spent with family and friends. I tend to celebrate the full 12 days of Christmas, so the tree and decorations will stay up until January 6th. Gifts will be exchanged well into the New Year, since some of the gifts I give are New Year gifts (to my Buddhist family and friends).
I am grateful for:
- Being well enough to celebrate Christmas Day my daughter, family, and friends
