I've
had another good day, today. I set my alarm and woke up earlier than I have been
getting up, lately. Then, I spent a good part of the day doing office
work and accomplished my goal for the day.
In
between doing office work, I did a load of laundry and hung it up to dry, dusted the washing machine and wiped down the laundry room walls, dusted the
living room and dining area, and vacuumed part of the house. I left the
family room and the bedrooms for another day, this week.
I
also went through and filed or recycled a pile of papers.
In the evening, I put water to the back garden (turned on the sprinklers). I didn't get around to dead heading the roses, today.
It's
been another good day without side effects and I was able to get some stuff done.
Today, I am grateful for:
- Another, side-effects free day.
- Accomplishing my office work goals for the day.
- Being able to do my own housework.
- My washing machine.
- Sprinklers.
How was your day? Did you have a productive day?
I'm so happy you had a good, productive day! I love when I see that. My day was good. Not too productive, did the usual sweeping, tidying up, and laundry. I am trying to work on potty training. It's not going very well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess. Glad you had a good day, too. He might be too young for potty training - maybe wait until he's 2?
DeleteI'm planning on waiting a bit. I still talk to him about it, but I'm not going to actively try to enforce it. I know he's capable, he just doesn't want to. He'll grab his diaper and tell me it's yucky. If I let him run around naked, he will hold it in until he gets a diaper on. That's my main reason for holding off - he has kidney problems anyway so he doesn't need to try and hold it like that. I figure once he hits 2 we will try to really work on it again and see how it goes.
DeleteOh, he is too much! Seems like he knows, but not quite ready. Yes, wait a little bit and try again.
DeleteI have just enjoyed catching up on your blog. I didn't read for a few days. I'm so glad that you are feeling reasonably well and able to do things. (((Hugs)))

Thank you, Bushlady. Hope all is well with you.
DeleteHow wonderful that you're feeling so well Bless! Seems your health care team was successful in fending off many of the unpleasant side effects of your Friday trreatment. Sounds as if you're in very good hands! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carolyn. It is indeed a blessing to feel as well as I do. I am so happy that the side effects seem to be under control.
DeleteProud you were able to get so much of your work done.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good rest of the week.. Praying for the Treatment on Friday.
Thank you, Judy. I might have done a bit too much yesterday, because I didn't feel as energetic today. Need to learn how to pace myself!
