I might have done too much, yesterday! I had a rather disturbed night of sleep last night (kept having weird dreams and waking up) and woke up feeling a bit tired, today.
But, I went for my blood tests in the morning. I went fasting, so I was quite hungry by the time I got back. When I came home, I made myself a scrambled egg and a fried potato for brunch.
Then, I did my office work. I also did 2 loads of laundry. And called my primary care doctor's
office because the pharmacy had called and said they needed
authorization on two of my medications in order to refill them. I had a
bit of a headache by then, so I took a nap in the afternoon. Later in
the evening, I deadheaded the roses. I didn't do any housecleaning,
today, or my paperwork, but that's OK. Maybe I'll feel more energetic tomorrow.
One of my aunts called in the evening and I had a nice chat with her. She said she's unable to visit right now since her daughter is busy with visiting in-laws, but she'll visit me later when they are not as busy. It's been awhile since I last saw this aunt and cousin, so it'll be nice to see them again, one of these days.
Dinner tonight was a salad (lettuce, cucumber, carrots) with slices of chicken breast. I had been told to avoid raw vegetables to minimize getting sick, so I was extra careful and washed all the salad stuff in a mixture of vinegar and water. I never thought I would crave salad, but after so many months of not eating any, I have been really wanting salads!
Today, I am grateful for:
- Blood tests were done without any difficulties.
- Getting office work done.
- Afternoon naps.
- A stroll around the garden as I deadheaded the roses.
- A call from aunt.
How was your Wednesday?
Your 'down day' sounds quite productive. It's so interesting hearing about your garden - our roses will not be in bloom for another month or two! x
ReplyDeleteThank you. I need to remember that I can't do quite as much as I would like to, while undergoing treatment, etc. I just did a post about the garden; hope you enjoy reading it.
DeleteSorry you had a rough sleeping night.. Hope tonight is better.
ReplyDeleteThe garden is beautiful..
Thanks, Judy. I slept better, last night, and hopefully will do tonight, as well.
