First, a quick update on March Goals:
Spiritual: Focused on prayers, gratitude, etc., well maintained.
Environment: Didn't do as well as I would have liked; fair to middling.
Daughter: Enjoyed her spring break, spending time together; again, did well in this section.
Family and Friends: Lots of contact and interactions; truly blessed where friends are concerned.
Career: Completed one assignment and started on another; well maintained.
Finances: Managed my finances and completed my tax returns (will get a refund!); did OK.
Health: Started the 2nd chemo sessions and side effects haven't been too severe this time around.
Time Management: Did my taxes in good time! Unfortunately, procrastinated on other things like decluttering.
Leisure/Crafts/Hobbies/Me-Time: Did well. Got lots of Me-time (resting, napping, etc.!); finished knitting the scarf. Did some sewing.
On the whole, I did well on my March goals. The Environment and Time Management segments needed more work!
On to April Goals!
Spiritual:
- Focus on prayers and meditations; on gratitude and being thankful; appreciate the blessings.
Environment:
- Maintain for the most part; do a little decluttering and organizing.
Daughter:
- Enjoy her company as she continues to come down each weekend to accompany me to chemo sessions. I told her it was not necessary, as I seem to be doing so much better with the new chemo, but she explained that it was necessary to her, for her own peace of mind. So, I will sit back and enjoy being cossetted.
Family:
- Most contacts will be on the phone or on-line, again. Expecting an in-person visit from a cousin on holiday from Australia.
Friends:
- Contacts will be mostly on the phone and on-line, which will be OK.
Career:
- Will continue to work from home.
Finances:
- I will continue to budget and manage my finances.
Health:
- Once again, the main focus will be on health. I've started the 2nd part of the chemo treatment and so far, the side effects have been manageable. Need to focus on more regular exercise, drinking plenty of water, eating more veggies, etc.
Time Management:
- Need to procrastinate less. However, as long as the important things, like work assignments, bills being paid, etc., are being done on time, I will not worry too much.
Leisure/Crafts/Hobbies/Me-Time:
- Continue knitting the new blouse I started, yesterday; continue to sew the quilts; do more gardening.
Here's hoping for a well balanced life in April!
Seems like you did well in March. Hope April is good for you too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess. There are a couple of areas I would like to focus on in April, health and energy permitting. Will have to take it one day at a time and see how things go. In any case, it's good to have a goal.
DeleteYou are doing so well Bless. You inspire me to get moving along, even in baby steps. ((((HUGS))))) and prayers.

Thank you, Diana. Some days, baby steps are all I can manage. I've learned to scale back on my expectations!
