Shaking My Head

Random Dancer Picture (because I haven't posted any pics, lately)

If ever the right hand finds out what the left hand is doing, we'll all be in trouble!

Called the surgeon's office to see if path reports have been forwarded to oncologist's office for tomorrow's appt., or if I should stop by to pick them up to take with me.

Per front office person I spoke with, they have not received my path reports!

Then what did the surgeon quote from when he spoke with daughter and me on Monday afternoon? Makes one wonder.

Called the oncologist's office to confirm appt. and they confirmed they've received the reports! They are there in the hospital's computer system, I was assured, and I can obtain a copy when I come tomorrow - just ask.

Shaking my head. Situation normal; all messed up as usual.  :D

**********************

I woke up really early, this morning - at 3:45 a.m.  Not so good, because I didn't go to sleep until 1:00 a.m.  Tried to go back to sleep, but stayed up in bed until after 5:00 a.m.  I looked through a book of Christmas Gift Ideas for awhile, and then, finally, decided to get up.

I was hungry, and I wanted biscuits!  Fortunately, I had a small tube of refrigerated biscuit dough in the fridge.  So, turned on the oven, pulled out a baking tray, lined it with aluminum foil, opened the tube of biscuit dough, plopped the biscuits on the tray and put to bake while I brushed my teeth.  All before 5:30 a.m.!  15 minutes later, I had hot biscuits with butter and a dollop of my homemade strawberry jam!  Then, I lay on the sofa in the family room, with the TV news on and, sometime after 6:30 a.m., fell asleep again, till 9:45 a.m.

At 10:00 a.m., my cousin called to check on me and then, I called and wished daughter a good morning.  She has a class at 11:00 a.m., today, and then, work from 1 to 6 p.m.

Later, I filled out some of the medical history forms sent to me by the oncologist's office; Still more forms to fill out; will do later in the afternoon.  Then, made the phone calls mentioned above.  Looked up the driving directions to the oncologist appointment.

Daughter will come home, tonight.  A friend of hers will pick her up from the airport and bring her home.  She will drive me to the oncologist appt. tomorrow.

Today, I am grateful for:

- Hot biscuits, with butter and my homemade strawberry jam
- Being able to sleep in, as needed
- Medical reports taken care of
- Daughter coming home tonight
- Her friend will give her a ride home from airport

    1. Jess, thank you. I think it's partly due to lack of exercise - I've been resting after surgery and probably don't need as much sleep.

    1. Judy, it was the weirdest thing, because I normally don't buy canned biscuit dough! Just once in a blue moon. But I had bought this can on a spur of the moment purchase and there it was, at the back of the fridge, waiting till needed. :)
