Woke up at 8:00 a.m. Dancer cat was complaining loudly that he was locked out of my bedroom (we didn't want him jumping on my bed as usual).
A little leakage fr. wound (they didn't cover it with a dressing/gauze/bandage, etc.) Worried daughter, but leakage to be expected, I suppose. Just changed blouses and that should be fine.
Daughter was so worried she stayed up half the night, then brought the mattress from her bed and put it on the floor beside my bed and slept there. She's still sleeping.
I'm surprised, but I'm not in pain! only an occasional twinge, yesterday. So, no pain meds taken yet. Will take if needed, of course.
My cousin and aunt visited last night and brought me all the things the hospital said I should eat that first day - applesauce, broth, bananas, etc. (I had bought bananas, but not the other items). My cousin also had come to the hospital and stayed with daughter and me for most of the day. I am so blessed.
Today, I'm grateful for...everything! Too many to list.
OK, no more typing with left hand for a bit - so slow and awkward.
Hope you all have a blessed day.
So glad to hear that you are settled back at home and resting, with kind visitors yesterday. Have a blessed day and love to you and little Bless.ReplyDelete
