Dancer Helps on Tuesday

Checking which piece to fit in, next
Hi blog friends!  This is Dancer, again.  Mummy said I should show you what a good helper I am when it comes to doing our puzzles!  This puzzle is called Christmas Bake Sale and it is all pictures of ginger bread men and snowmen cookies! They look so delicious that I am tempted to try and eat them!

Mummy was so excited when she saw what I did!  "Dancer!", she shouted exclaimed!  "Look what you did!"  Aw, Mummy, it was nothing, really.  Didn't take me more than a couple of minutes!  I don't know why it takes you hours to put those pieces together!

Posing with  my handiwork!

Oh, OK, then, go ahead and take a close up to show our blog friends.  But, you know they are going to be jealous that you have such a good helper and they will all wish they had a helper like me!

Close up of what I did
What's that, Mummy?  What did I do with the rest of the border pieces?  They are on the floor, under the table, Mummy.  I prefer the puzzle not to have a border.  It looks more interesting without a border.  Don't you agree blog friends?

Mummy says that, today, she is grateful for:
- Having me help with the puzzle
- Waking her up in the morning with my meowing song
- Reminding her when it is time for her tea (and my tuna)
- Keeping her company
- Writing her blog post for her

Hope you enjoyed seeing how I helped Mummy with her puzzle, blog friends.  Do you think I did a good job?

  1. I think you did a brilliant job Dancer. Mummy appreciates the exercise you give her, picking up all the pieces you've dropped on the floor 😂

    1. LOL, Wisps of Words, he has no interest in the puzzle until I sit down to work on it. It's the same with sewing, too. He's Mummy's Little Helper! The only time he doesn't try to help is when I am vacuuming - he's afraid of the vacuum cleaner!

  5. Love hearing Dancer's adventures. I still miss my cat. Sigh. When I walked in the door when I got back from the airport I expected him to be waiting for me meowing because I'd been gone.

    1. Aw, Sharon, I'm sorry. They do find their way into our hearts, don't they? Do you suppose you might get another cat?

  6. Dear Dancer-
I applaud all of the 'help' you give your mummy ... I understand you are not only useful with puzzles (and probably yarn) but with making beds and changing the linens- how considerate you are- please tell Mummy that things are cold and wet right now in this part of Texas, but Paige is progressing well with her radiation and still feeling quite well... even my eternal cold seems to be lessening its grip-take good care of your mum... she is quite special to many of us who read from far away- fondest regards to you there-

    1. Hi Barb, Mummy's not very happy with me today because I was trying to show her what a mighty hunter I was and attacked her leg! She told me I was in the dog house, but, I don't know what that means because we don't have a dog!

Sorry it's cold and wet over there, but, glad to hear that Paige is doing well and your cold is getting better. You are all in our prayers for good health. (((HUGS)))

    1. Thank you, Debra! Mummy says I'm always at hand like a sore thumb! I'm not quite sure what that means, but, I think she is saying that I'm a good helper. :)
