The Winter Photo Scavenger Hunt began on December 1, 2020 and will end on March 31, 2021 (if anyone would like to join, there's still plenty of time!). There is a list of 20 prompts and three alternatives. These are the selections I have made for the first link up:
1. A set of three: A set of three blue and white elephants that were a gift from my mother.
3. A Set of Three |
3. A peek inside: This little figurine of Santa at the mailbox, which I include with my winter village set, used to be a favorite with my daughter when she was a little girl:
Santa at the Mailbox |
The mailbox opens up to let one peek inside to see all the gifts that Santa has placed inside:
3. A Peek Inside |
8. A sign of the times: We have all become accustomed to seeing a sign similar to this one, I'm sure.
8. A Sign of the Times |
19. Something yellow: A winter rose from my garden.
19. Something Yellow |
20. Marking Time |
Thank you, Eileen, for organizing this!
Interesting photos. I especially like Santa at the mailbox. I can see why it was a favorite of hers when she was little.
ReplyDeleteThank you, June. She used to play with it every Christmas, opening and closing the mail box. :)
DeleteThe Santa countdown was my favourite but now it has to be the mailbox Santa ... I love that one. A great selection and thanks for joining in.
ReplyDeleteThe linky will be on my blog tomorrow.
Thank you, Eileen. Glad you like the mail box Santa. :D

Thank you, Nil. If you have a box of something, perhaps you could lift the lid and give us a peek inside? :)
DeleteHappy New Year to you, too. May 2021 be a good one!
When I saw the photo of the pretty elephants, I immediately thought of my friend who loves elephants and has some interesting ones, too. She would be most impressed with yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bushlady. According to my mother, elephants with their trunks raised are supposed to be lucky. :)
DeleteLove your "peek inside" photo. It's perfect for combining the prompt and the season.
ReplyDeleteThose elephants are wonderful.
Thank you, Debra. As soon as I unpacked the Santa at the mail box figurine, I knew it would be my choice for that prompt! :)
