This is the list for 2019. I am well aware of the fact that it is not going to be all done in January. I don't expect it to be done anytime soon! The important thing, at this time, is to get started on the list. To that end, I already called and scheduled two appointments (one for Dancer, for this afternoon, and one for the car to be serviced, next week). I would like to see at least 15 items crossed off the list, by the end of January, however.

Anyone else has a mile long list of things she'd like to accomplish?
I always have a list of things I need to do. In fact, sometimes I write things down when I'd be just as quick to get on with the actual task. X
ReplyDeleteJules, you are right! Sometimes, it takes just as long to write things down as to do them! Writing things down in a list can give one a false sense of productivity - we did something - we wrote it down!
DeleteI've got a couple of mile long lists myself. And as you mentioned, they're that long so I have one place to look so I don't forget things.
ReplyDeleteI find it helpful to write things down, rather than trying to remember them. This way, I don't have to worry about forgetting something! My lists are something of a brain dump! LOL.
DeleteSo this time I have actually posted my list, in an attempt to become more accountable. Wish me luck. I am already wishing you lots of luck and am cheering you on. Go, Bless!
ReplyDeleteI saw your list, Susan; it is a good list, too. I am definitely wishing you luck and cheering you on, too! :D
DeleteYou are going to be a very busy lady! I have a mile long list which just scares me to look at, but there is something about crossing completed tasks off the list that encourages me to keep going. Good luck with yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. I think we all have plenty on our plates to keep us busy for a long time to come! But, it is better to write it all out - a list keeps us focused, I think, and there is the satisfaction of crossing things off it!
