Christmas 2018

Merry Christmas

Wishing all my blog readers a wonderful day.

May there be peace on Earth and may there be goodwill to all.

May all beings, whether feeble or strong, small or large, long or short, seen or unseen, dwelling near or far, born or yet to be born; may all beings, without exception, enjoy peace, happiness, and well-being.  (Adapted from the Karaniya Metta Sutta)

  1. Thanks, Bless. It's a little tough this year as it will be the first time daughter won't be here. I must admit to being a little tearful yesterday and feeling sorry for myself, but today went okay. I talked and texted with daughter quite a lot which made it a little easier.

    1. (((HUGS))) Sharon. It must have been very hard! I am glad you were able to talk and text with her. It's hard when they grow up and move away, isn't it?

  2. This is just a lovely holiday (and everyday) wish!

    1. Thank you, Anne. It is a wish I make every day, as I recite this loving kindness sutta (Pali; sutra in Sanskrit), every day.

    1. Thank you, Jules. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Lily is happy with what Father Christmas brought for her. Hope you are enjoying Boxing Day (we don't celebrate it here, in the U.S., but I remember it from when I was growing up).
