I went for radiation in the morning. #5 of 7 sessions.
Just two more left to go!
I asked at the radiation clinic how long I should use the
ointment the nurse prescribed - the leaflet that came with it said to
use for 14 days and I am close to that. But I was told to use it for as
long as the skin is peeling and the new skin underneath looks raw. A
whole bunch of skin peeled off, today, when I washed the area in the
morning, so I guess I'll be using the ointment for a few more days.
After I woke up, however, I had some energy and so, I did a load of laundry, did the dishes, took the trash and recycling out, cleared the dining table (and dusted and polished it, afterwards), washed the kitchen trash can, and did a bit of paperwork. I still have a small stack of papers to deal with, tomorrow; mostly things to file, but also a couple of bills to pay.
Today, I decluttered a newspaper with an article about cancer that a friend had given to me and 3 old computer software disks:

How was your Thursday?
My Thursday was fun - wedding anniversary. It is amazingly hot in England this week. Well done - only 2 treatments left! Hoping the ointment helps deal with the peeling. Is it hot where you are? and does that make your sKin worse? blessings xx
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, Angela! Please give my best wishes to Bob, too. May you both enjoy many more happy anniversaries in the years to come.
DeleteActually, it has cooled down to highs in the upper 80s and low 90s, here. That's comfortable weather (with a fan on) for me. Hot for me is when it is in the upper 90s and 100+. :) I hope it soon cools down to where it feels comfortable for you.
Almost all done! How exciting!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day today, Bless :)
Thank you, Nathalie. Yes, I'm counting the days, if you can't tell! :D
DeleteHope you have a lovely day, too.
