    1. Glad you liked the selection, Eileen. When the theme was announced, it was 90F+ over here and I had commented that I didn't know what I could photograph for spring because it was so hot, and another blogger suggested I could take a photo of Dancer springing. Dancer, however, refused to spring! :D

  2. Great Spring pictures in every sense. I did wonder if you'd end with a spring of water somewhere! Sunny blue skies here today too

    1. Thank you, Angela. No springs of water, here! Even the rivers have practically dried up!

  3. Your flower photos are so beautiful ! They make me feel happy just looking at them. A clever twist on the theme 'Spring' too with the secateurs and especially Dancer ...not springing.... :)

  4. Yay, Dancer made the selection of photos ... I did wonder if you'd manage to include him this month.

I love all of your photos, but especially the cornflower and also the Asian pear blossom. Many thanks for joining in this month.

    1. Thank you, Eileen. Yes, Dancer has to make an appearance, doesn't he? I think that has become a tradition, now! :D Thank you for continuing to host the monthly challenge. I really enjoy participating.

  5. Those darn cats. They never do what we want them to when we want them to. And that's why we love them. :)

    1. LOL, yes, cats do what they want, when they want! Dancer will do one or two tricks for my daughter, but, when I told him to "spring", he gave me that look which said, "You'd better be kidding, lady"! :D

  6. hahahahaha
    Dancer is the best.

It was clever of you to jump to the spring of a tool. My mind would've probably stayed with the time of year.

    1. I have a challenge within a challenge, with trying to get Dancer's picture into the theme! :D I was initially focused on the season, but, then, remembered that there were other types of springs, too. Angela mentioned a spring of water, in her comment, but, I didn't think about that (not that I know of any spring around here, especially now!)

    2. Believe it or not, there are springs about an hour's drive from here, but I decided that was too long a round trip, just for a photo! Went for the bottled version instead. :op

    3. I didn't even think about the bottled water version, until I saw your post! You are very clever!

  7. Lovely photos as always. How funny, I too photographed my poppies (Welsh: yellow and orange) but didn't use in the end (you'll see why!). The nashi blossom is amazing - I have never seen it in real life. As for springs - I'm amazed how many people have found! I know there is one in the house somewhere (from a Christmas cracker puzzle some years ago - but I couldn't find it. I eventually stumbled over a very cobwebby one in the shed and then, too late, thought of a hair clasp. Of course, I'm now wondering whether my secateurs are like yours. I'll have to check. Very disagreeable of Dancer not to help you with your challenge. They don't make cats like they used to! ;o)

    1. Thank you, Lady Ella. I took a look at your post and oh, my! That photo of Luna springing is absolutely amazing! I love it! I see that she was more willing to help than Dancer was! :D Dancer is getting old and grumpy.

    2. Thank you. I probably shouldn't tell, but I have several of her in mid-launch, legs splayed, arms crossed or akimbo, or making a crash landing... Absolutely hilarious, but she wouldn't let me use those, as she was shy and worried that people might laugh. But she was very obliging overall. 🙂🐈
