Today is a new day in many ways, isn't it?
It has been another sunny, warm day with a high of 94F where I live. However, the extended forecast says we will have a high of 67F and rain next week on Wednesday.
Today, I did office work for the most part. In between, I dusted the living room, dining area, and family room, did a load of laundry, watered the front garden, and replaced the burnt out bulb in the front porch light.
Freshly made pancakes and beef curry (from the freezer) for brunch, today. There are leftovers of both for brunch tomorrow. Dinner will be leftover rice and stir-fry.
Wednesday's To Do List:
- Office work - DONE
- Do time sheets for work (make up 1 hour) - DONE
- Water the front garden - DONE
- Replace the front porch light - DONE
- Load of laundry - DONE
- Dust (Living room, dining area, family room) - DONE
Thursday's To Do List:
- Send in weekly office work
- Call restaurant
- Pick up daughter from airport
Other Things To Be Done:
- Vacuum
- Clean Bathroom
- Almsgiving Preparations:
* Bleach, wash, iron serviettes
- Holiday Preparations:
* Make cards
- Put together a bag of food to be donated
Today, I am grateful for:
- A new day
- Being alive to be there for my daughter
- A positive attitude
- Having enough to share
- Working appliances

Weather check here. We're forecast to have 45F here. I am practising grumbling. It isn't too bad, and we have salt and grit for the paths. Good luck with sorting out the food bank. I've a feeling that a lot of people could be needing a little extra help in a while. x

DeleteYou sure did a load of housework yesterday, despite having office work to do. So your daughter is coming home to celebrate your birthday with you? It sounds like you have a gorgeous weather this week. What a change in the climate for next week however. But cool rainy weather is good for the garden as well. It's all good.

DeleteYes, my daughter is coming home to celebrate my birthday. :) It is a birthday we didn't know if I'd live to celebrate, so it is a bit special.
