Quiet Sunday and Weekly To Do List

Another sunny, warm day, here, in Southern California; it was 86F when I took my daughter to the airport in the afternoon.

We spent a quiet morning.  One of my friends called me and my neighbor called me.  Later, I made oatmeal for my daughter's breakfast and had a sandwich for mine.  I also paid the first installment of my property taxes.

In the afternoon, I dropped daughter off at the airport and came home.  I watered the new plants I had bought.  My gardener had brought me some additional plants, as well - snapdragons and a red geranium.  But I didn't water the garden.  Will do that tomorrow. I brought another bucket of kitty litter in from the garage and I cleaned the litter box.  Need to do the dishes and water the house plants.

Daughter's flight was delayed by half an hour, but she had a good flight and reached her apartment, safely.  We video chatted in the evening, of course.

Today, I am grateful for:
- Daughter's visit home
- She had a safe flight and reached her apartment safely
- A sunny and warm day
- Phone calls from a friend and a neighbor
- Working computers

I made myself another weekly to do list, as I find them very useful.

  1. Aren't lists wonderful? In addition to tracking what we need to do, they're great for reviewing all we've accomplished too. Especially motivating on days when we may not get as much done. Glad you had a great birthday weekend with your daughter!

    1. Thank you, Judy. It was lovely to have my daughter home for the weekend, and yes, sad to see her go. But she'll be back for Thanksgiving, and then, Christmas.

I'm glad you had a relaxed Sunday. So important to have a quiet day to recharge our batteries. Hope you have a lovely week.
