November Grocery Shopping: Week 4

I went grocery shopping, today.  I needed to get a few things for the week, especially with daughter coming home for the holiday weekend.

November 23 Groceries

I bought:

1/2 gal. milk = $1.99
1 loaf bread = $1.29
1 container half and half = $1.79
1 package coffee = $5.77
bananas (5); @$.69/lb = $1.26
1 bag salad mix; $1.99 - $.45 coupon = $1.54
2 containers raspberries; @$1.50 = $3.00
1bag (2 oz) pistachios = $1.00
Total = $17.64


I bought the bag of pistachio from the dollar store; it isn't shown in the grocery store receipt, below.

I had also purchased two bags of cat food but pet food doesn't come out of the grocery budget; neither does the tax on the cat food. 

November 23 Receipt

November/Almsgiving grocery budget = $200.00 + $43.34 carried forward from October
Total spent in Week 4 = $17.64
Total spent on groceries so far this month = $43.48 + $19.70 + $110.13 + $17.64 = $190.95
Amount left in budget = $243.34 - $190.95 = $52.39
