September Meal Planning: Week 2 Review and Week 3

This was my September Week 2 Meal Plan/Options:

Brunches:  Curried pork fried rice (Monday); French toast; waffles, tortillas with seeni sambol scrambled eggs and lunu miris; leftovers from dinners

Dinners:  Rice and curries - curried pork, sauteed okra, sauteed moringa leaves, spicy sauteed potatoes (Monday);  smoked sausage, spicy potato wedges, corn on the cob, and salad (Tuesday); sauteed salmon (from the freezer) with rice and vegetable curries green beans; leftovers; or something else (Chinese take out)!

Snacks/Desserts: Options include fresh fruit, homemade chocolate cookies (daughter baked), apple juice popsicles, and ice cream.

Monday:
Brunch:  Curried pork fried rice
Dinner:  Rice, curried pork, sauteed okra, sauteed moringa leaves, spicy sauteed potatoes, 
Snacks/Dessert: Pears (me), watermelon (daughter), homemade chocolate cookies

Tuesday:
Brunch:  Rice and leftover curries (daughter); leftover curried pork fried rice (me)
Dinner:  Smoked sausage baked in the oven along side spicy potato wedges, corn on the cob, and salad
Snacks/Dessert: Apple juice popsicles; chocolate cookies

Wednesday:
Brunch: Smoked sausage and potato wedges (daughter); tortilla and seeni sambol (me) 
Dinner:  Smoked sausage and potato wedges (daughter - she really liked the smoked sausage, this time); leftover pork chop with onion and mushroom gravy, rice, and sauteed okra (me)
Snacks/Dessert: Chocolate cookie (me)

Thursday:
Brunch:  Chinese take out
Dinner:  Leftover Chinese food
Snacks/Dessert: Ice cream and cookies

Friday:
Brunch:  Leftover Chinese food
Dinner:  Salmon with rice (daughter) or baked potato (me)
Snacks/Dessert: Asian pears, blueberry cobbler with or without ice cream; cheese and crackers

Saturday:
Brunch:  Toast and butter with seeni sambol on one half and peach jam on the other half (me; daughter went out with friends and enjoyed French and Cuban pastries)
Dinner:  Leftover Chinese food (me; daughter had a potluck dinner with friends)
Snacks/Dessert: Asian pear, 1/4 chocolate cookie; dry cereal, jujubes, blueberry cobbler

Sunday:
Brunch:  Waffles with seeni sambol, bacon, and syrup
Dinner:   Leftover Chinese food (daughter), rice, salmon, okra, cashew curry, tomato chutney, and moringa curry (me)
Snacks/Dessert: Asian pears, jujubes, blueberry cobbler; cheese and crackers (me)

I think the meal plan options worked out quite well during September Week 2.  There were some small adjustments, here and there, but, that's normal for me.

Moving on to Week 3, here are my meal plan options:

Brunches:  Bagels with butter and/or cold cuts; sandwiches with cold cuts; salads; French toast; leftovers from dinners

Dinners:  Fried rice; smoked sausage  with spicy potato wedges and salad (requested by daughter who really liked the smoked sausage from last week); ground turkey keema curry with rice or ground turkey and pasta; "breakfast for dinner" scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes; leftovers.

Snacks/Desserts: Options include fruit, cereal, yogurt, ice cream, cheese and crackers, popcorn, mango achcharu or pickle (under ripe mango, cut up and added to a mixture of white vinegar, salt, sugar, and chili powder; eaten as a snack). etc.
