Baby Yoda |
Baby Yoda paid us a visit over Christmas. He lives with daughter's friend P, but, he was in need of a couple of stitches to mend a small tear and daughter did that the other day. We enjoyed having him visit us.
First, we took a picture together with the Christmas tree:

Then, it was time to have a little something to eat:

After lunch, he took a little rest:

Then, it was time for a little entertainment:

Baby Yoda is an accomplished pianist!

After that, it was time to go home and he waited patiently for P to pick him up.
Waiting for P |
P brought us fresh lemons from his sister's tree and vegan Vietnamese food as a thank you gift for taking care of Baby Yoda:

Bye, Baby Yoda. Hope you come back for another visit, soon!
So funny! Baby Yoda looks quite big too. It was nice of you to fix him up so he could entertain you lol
ReplyDeleteHe was a fun visitor! :D
DeleteBaby Yoda looks like a fun visitor and the best kind to have this time of year - one where no one had to wear a mask!
ReplyDeleteYes! Daughter had a couple of her girl friends over the other night and we all had to wear masks (except for one friend's 5 months old baby). :)
DeleteSo cute. Regine

Thank you, Regine. :D
DeleteWow a visit and food! Life is good there!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is! It's always more fun when daughter is home and her friends visit. :)
DeleteYoda is much bigger than I thought. Too much Christmas food?
ReplyDeleteI think so, thus the need for stitches! He was getting a bit too big for his britches! :D
DeleteI love it, frugal fun, glorious
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jozien. :)
DeleteIt looks like Baby Yoda had a lovely time in your home. I don't see Dancer in any of the photos. Was he sulking somewhere?
ReplyDeleteBaby Yoda had a good time visiting us! Dancer was sleeping at the time and wasn't interested in playing. I think he was jealous that we were entertaining Baby Yoda and not him! :D
DeleteThat was fun seeing Baby Yoda enjoying your hospitality! The Vietnamese food looks great, too.
ReplyDeleteThe temperature is above freezing and snow is falling off the trees and the icicles are melting. Rain is forecast! We are having a lazy week and catching up on e-mails.
It was having Baby Yoda visit! My daughter was very amused that I was enjoying his visit. :D
DeleteI'm sure you are glad that the temperature is above freezing. I'm glad you are having a relaxed week. Hope your cold is getting better. It rained here, today, and I was very happy because the garden got watered. :)
He seems like the perfect house guest! Quiet and well-mannered, and an accomplished pianist. He brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "playing by ear" - I must look into it! :o) I am glad to see he recovered from the operation so well, but needing stitches doesn't sound good. I do hope he had not been in a fight.
ReplyDeleteHe was a very good house guest! Ha, ha, yes, he said he's very good at "playing by ear"! :D I think the stitches were needed as a result of eating too many pastries (one of P's former roommates is a pastry chef).
DeleteLOL! I am laughing at this very clever post. Especially the piano playing with his ears. Too funny :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing him in all the festive spots around your home.
Glad you enjoyed it, Debra; daughter and I had fun taking the photos. :)
DeleteOh my goodness, Baby Yoda is just the best! 😁 So cute! Glad y’all could enjoy a visit from him.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mandy; yes, he was a cutie and we enjoyed having him visit! :D
DeleteLove this! Yoda looks very happy to be visiting you. X
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it! We had fun with Baby Yoda! :D
