Fall Decoration/Craft Project

Fall Door Decoration

I took down the Halloween decorations today and started on the Fall decorations. 

I had bought this decorative broom, several years ago, when it was on sale and I had bought the roll of craft ribbon at about the same time.  I wrapped the broom handle with some of the ribbon and hot glued the ends:

I cut the rest of the ribbon into smaller lengths and added them to a pile of Fall colored fabric leaves and flowers:

Next, I hot glued the fabric flowers and leaves to the front of the broom, along with the bits of craft ribbon.  Some of the ribbon was folded in half to make loops and two longer pieces were left to trail below:

Completed Decoration

A quick craft project for an afternoon.

Later, I will ask daughter to take down the Thanksgiving decorations box that is stored in the garage.  There's a wreath and a cornucopia stored in it, which will go in the dining area.
