A Quick Update

 Hi, this is Bless's daughter.

I took my mom to the ER yesterday. She is in pain from sciatica. The doctors took blood tests and x-rays which were all clear (no blood clots or artery damage, which we were worried about) and her doctor has prescribed a stronger medication. She's resting at home and she'll post and reply to comments when she is able to. She's currently in intermittent pain and not feeling well enough to go online.

  5. So sorry the pain was bad enough that you had to go to the emergency room. That had to be scary for you and your daughter. Good that they didn't find any blood clots or artery damage though. That's good news. I hope the stronger medication will help with the pain. Get some rest and let your daughter take care of you and post when you can. I will be praying for you. Denise

  11. Hi Bless, I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you were. Had planned to drop you a line but now I see this update. Sorry to hear you had to go to the hospital but considering how you had been feeling, it was definitely the best thing to do. I'm glad they ruled out anything worse, and hope the medication does the trick very soon. 😰➡️😄

  14. Hello...long time reader here but not sure if I’ve ever commented. I feel your pain, Bless as I suffer on a daily basis from four herniated discs. I hope you are back to feeling yourself again in no time. Thank your daughter for the update. I was concerned not seeing a new blog post from you. Take care.

  17. Bless,

I’m glad you’re on the mend. Sciatic pain is really something else. Take care. Hopefully, you can get some easy exercises to do to help you in the future. We’re just not as young as we used to be. I’m so sorry!
