Monthly Photo Challenge: February - Circles/Circular

The theme for the Monthly Photo Challenge, hosted by Eileen, is "Circles/Circular".  These are what I have photographed for this month:

Circle of Edging Stones Around the Hibiscus

Circular Flower Pots with the Kent Family of Mangos:
Lois, Clark, and Conner

Pea Vine Tendril

Loop of Rusted Wire

Grocery Store Pick Up Parking Spot Number

Dial Inside my Dusty Car

A Wreath I Made Years Ago

A Circular Rug I Crocheted

Sri Lankan Brass Wall Plaque

Black Bangles
The bottom one is plastic and I wear it all the time, 24/7;
the other three are glass, bought on a trip to Sri Lanka in 1979;
I wear them occasionally as I don't want them to break

Emblem on Daughter's Backpack

Circular Frame

Mini Muffin Pan

Sugar Jar Rim

Mama Cat (one of the garden cats) Trying Her Best to be a Circle

And, last, but not least:
Dancer: NOT being a Circle

Thank you, Eileen, for hosting this challenge.  Once I got started on taking the photos, I was seeing circles everywhere I looked!  It reminded me of the song, "Windmills of Your Mind"!

  1. You did see circles everywhere, but my favorites are the cat and the pea tendril.

    1. Thank you, Eileen. Dancer does curl up in a ball, every now and then, but, I just couldn't get a photo of him in that position! But, I try to get his picture in on my monthly challenges, somehow or the other! :D The rug is something I crocheted using fabric that I had been given. It was a "stash buster" project! :D

  4. Well done Bless! I also vote for the pea tendril, and I like the brass plaque too. How nice of Mama Cat to try to help!!

    1. Thank you, Lady Ella. :) That pea tendril is proving to be a favorite of many! Mama Cat likes to nap on the cardboard I've put down as a weed barrier in the side yard!

  5. I like your circular rug, is it made with fabric? Glad to see Dancer is his usual independent self enjoying a variety of poses, while Mama cat outdoors has sensibly chosen a nice clean piece of cardboard to nap on.
Eileen comes up with some great ideas for photo themes, doesn't she?

    1. Thank you, Bushlady; yes, the rug is made with fabric which had been given to me by a former neighbor. I posted about it back in March 2020:

Oh, Dancer was not cooperating at all! But, Mama Cat obliged! She loves to nap on the cardboard I put down as a weed barrier in the side yard. Stripey was near by, too, but, he wasn't all curled up!
Eileen does come up with great photo themes! The theme for March is things that start with H. I have a few ideas for that! :)

  6. Those are lovely. The pea shoot tendril was adorable, and I love the rug - you are incredibly talented.

    1. Thank you, Lyssa. The pea tendril seems to be a favorite! :) The rug was a "stash buster" project - a former neighbor gave me a stack of fabric which needed to be made into something!

  7. Thanks for joining the hunt Bless. I love your selection but I think my favourites have to be the pea tendril and the Hogwarts badge. The winning photo(s) have to be Dancer showing us how not to look like a circle ... that made me laugh 😂

    1. It was a pleasure, Eileen, and thank you for organizing it. :) I had a feeling you'd like the Hogwarts badge! :D Dancer wouldn't cooperate, this time, but, I had to include him, somehow. Glad he made you laugh. :D

  8. You did really well, outdoors, indoors and all around. I have to tell you that your sugar jar reminds me of the kitchen canister set I used to have in my first house - it carried a lovely memory of having picked it out with my mother-in-law on a trip to Kentucky Lake. Unfortunately 2 of the set were broken when we moved so I donated the others. Thanks for spurring that little trip down memory lane.

    1. Thank you, Susanne. I think the sugar jar was bought back in the late 1980s! That was a very popular design at that time, wasn't it? One of my cousins gave me a plastic cutting board with that design on it and when I saw the matching cannisters and glasses at the dollar store, I had to buy them! I bought this one larger jar and several smaller jars - I store my tea bags in one of the smaller jars. I think all the glasses broke.

  10. Dancer hahahaha - Not complying as his independence demands.

Not having used it in probably 15 years - maybe longer - I decluttered my mini muffins pan and want to also get rid of my regular muffin pan.
    But I haven't.

    1. That's Dancer for you! :D

I had wanted a mini muffin pan for a long time before I found one on sale and purchased it! I have used it a few times. I use my regular muffin pans (I've 2 of them; one with 9 cups and one with 11 cups as the 12th cup broke off!) more often!

    2. How does a muffin cup break off? I'm stumped.
Oh - maybe it's one of those rubbery flexible ones?

    3. No, it's a regular metal muffin pan. You leave it on a shelf in the garage from which it falls down for some reason or the other, but, you don't realize it until you drive your car over it! One cup popped right out and the other got dented, but, it still works. :D
