One of the newest garments I have is the blouse my cousin gave me for Christmas. I wore it with a pair of black pants to the office and with a black skirt to go to lunch with my friend:

I also tried it out with a pair of white denim pants:
With White Pants |
The pants are a bit too big, now, and baggy, as you can see. But, I think the blouse works well with them for a slightly different look. And I am thinking it will probably go with the long white skirt I have, too (although I haven't tried out that combination, yet).
What do you think?
I think your lovely smile goes with everything. X
ReplyDeleteAw, Jules, thank you! *big smile* :)
DeleteLove it with the white ... it makes the white in the blouse really stand out and the design really pops. The black looks a little too dark and heavy (to me). Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carolyn. I, too, thought it looked better with the white. Never mind what they say about having the same color top and bottom, and so forth.
DeleteI vote for the white also.
ReplyDeleteIt does appear better with the white pants, doesn't it?
DeleteIt looks better with the white since it is summer, but looks very nice with the black for a winter look.
ReplyDeleteYes, white is better suited for the summer, although I've been known to wear white even in the winter, at times. Oh, I am such a rebel at times! LOL.
DeleteYou've got a great year round piece. White for summer and black for colder weather.
ReplyDeleteJust recently found your blog and I'm really enjoying it.

Welcome, Debra. Nice to hear from you. Yes, it is a versatile outfit, isn't it?
DeleteI like it with the white too. Your smile is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. :) The white does seem to lighten it up, doesn't it?
DeleteHa! I favour the black, for an elegant evening outfit.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lady Ella. I tend to pair it with a pair of black pants (slacks) for the most part, these days. I no longer have the white denim pants shown in the picture above.
