Pink Rose
Now that Fall is here, the roses are blooming again. I thought I'd post a photographic bouquet of my garden roses. This pink rose is one of my favorites. It has a light fragrance.

Red Rose
The red roses in the front garden are also among my favorites!

Red, Red Rose
It, too, is fragrant.

White Iceberg Rose
This white iceberg rose is a standard and a gift from my gardener friend M who rescued it from the garden of another of his clients who wanted to get rid of it.

M is disappointed that the lilac colored Neptune rose doesn't seem to be a repeat bloomer, but, it certainly performed well during the summer and I am happy.
I hope you enjoyed the photographic bouquet of garden roses.

Likeyou, I like my roses to have a pong!
ReplyDeleteBack when I had a lot more roses growing in the garden, their fragrance was quite noticeable and perfumed the air. These days, I have to get up close to the flowers to smell them.
DeleteNo roses in my garden right now- thank you for sharing your lovely photos
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Angela. I thought people would enjoy seeing the roses instead of reading about me spraying for fleas and vacuuming and doing laundry, for a change! LOL.
DeleteJust beautiful! You don't see many pure white roses like that. They are usually tinged with something.
ReplyDeleteThank you, June. Sometimes, usually when the white roses are fading, one can see a tinge of pink on the petals, especially since they are growing right next to a pink rose and a red rose.
DeleteThey are all gorgeous! Have a great week my friend :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martha. Hope you have a good week, too. :)
DeleteBeautiful roses. I'm glad they have a perfume, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bushlady. I'm glad I took the pictures when I did because a couple of days of high temperatures and they are all faded, now!
DeleteBeautiful photos, dear friend. ❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. :)
DeleteOh these are so lovely. I think my favorite is the pink rose, but all are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe pink rose is a favorite of mine, too, Celie. Today's 90+ temperature caused the roses to fade!
DeleteThose roses are stunning!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, hanna jane. :)
DeleteThey are absolutely gorgeous, Bless. Thank you for sharing. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jules. We went up to 93F today and the roses all faded and dried up!
DeleteSuch beautiful flowers. And M seems like a gardener who really values plants, which is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lyssa. Yes, M really values plants and he is forever rescuing plants that some of his other clients want to discard for whatever reason. In fact, he brought a succulent to add to my collection last Friday. He always says I'm under no obligation to accept the plants he brings, but, I am happy to have them. :)
DeleteWhat a nice post full of your rose images. I do like a nice white rose and yours are a nice shade of white. All of your roses are pretty. That first pink one is beautiful. As is the red one! See? I like them all.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debra. Each rose is pretty in its own way, isn't it? The pink and red ones are among my favorites. I used to have a lovely yellow one, too, which died, last year.
