Monthly Photo Challenge: October - "Pattern(s)"

The theme for October's Photo Challenge, hosted by Eileen at A Bracelet of Days, is "Pattern(s)".  These photos are my selections for the theme:

Crocheted by My Mother

And last, but, not least, Dancer wanted me to take a photo of the pattern of stripes on his head and paws!  He jumped up on the coffee table and meowed at me when I was taking the pictures of the blue and white china pieces.  He loves to pose for pictures and I used to try an incorporate a picture of him in previous photo challenges.

There you are!  A "baker's dozen" of photos for October's "Pattern(s)" themed photo challenge.

Thank you, Eileen, for hosting the Monthly Photo Challenge.  Looking forward to the theme for November.

    1. Thank you, Lyssa. I love the shadows that the afternoon sun makes as it shines on the lattice trellis in the front. :)

  3. Such diverse patterns - the ones from natures, the shadows, and plants and Dancer's fur are especially wonderful because they change with the time and light. I love the Argyle pattern too

  4. Patterns is a good theme because they are everywhere. You have a nice selection, but the Simplicity pattern is my favorite. :)

    1. Thank you, June. That Simplicity pattern is decades old and it's my "go to" pattern when I want to sew a dress or a blouse. :)

  6. You got a good selection of patterns. When you wrote what the theme for October was to be, a couple of local ideas came into my mind but I didn't follow the thought processes and hadn't even considered literal knitting/sewing patterns, or furry patterns. It's such a great theme and you made the most of it ... seems you enjoyed it too!

PS Love the table runner - well done Mum!

    1. Thank you, Lady Ella. I'm glad I thought of sewing/knitting patterns. :) I did enjoy taking photos for this month's challenge and I was also determined to do better than in September, when I barely managed to make the minimum number of photos for "Blue".
My mother made so many lovely crocheted items. I can only crochet granny squares! :D
