The theme for June's Monthly Photo Challenge that Eileen at A Bracelet of Days is hosting, was "Fruit".
I decided to limit myself to homegrown fruit. Here are my finds for this challenge:
 |
Homegrown Lemons |
 |
Peaches on the Tree |
 |
Strawberries |
 |
Plums Starting to Ripen |
 |
Ripening Plums
|
 |
Freshly Picked Plums
|
 |
Passionfruit on the Vine (Nor Ripe Yet) |
 |
Asian Pears |
 |
Blueberries |
 |
Nectarine Starting to Ripen |
And, last, but, not least:
 |
Tomato (which is, botanically, a fruit)
|
Thank you, Eileen, for this opportunity to participate in the monthly photo challenge.
July's theme is "Number(s)" with the added challenge of a different source for each number. Eileen has posted the challenge rules on her blog (a minimum of five photos taken during the month, no upper limit) if anyone reading this post is interested in joining in the monthly photo challenge in July.
Beautiful fruits!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda.
Delete"I decided to limit myself to homegrown fruit"!! Hark at you, with all yer homegrown fruit! 😁 Anyway, well done and lovely pictures. The strawberries look perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lady Ella. I had taken a couple of photos of purchased fruit (mangos, bananas, etc.), but, decided to stick to the homegrown fruit. :)
DeleteAbsolutely brilliant pictures! I am SO envious of you growing plums and peaches. I have tried to grow plum trees since I left those at my childhood home and they refuse to grow! This is very sad!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kezzie. I'm sorry you have been unable to grow plum trees, but, keep trying! You might be able to find a variety that will grow well in your area.
DeleteYum!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteHow lovely to be able to provide so many photos of your very own homegrown fruit!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bushlady. June is a good month for fruit in my garden. :)
DeleteWow, what a lot of fruit you are growing, well done
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joy. :)
DeleteYou have such wonderful home grown fruit! The peaches in the photo look like they are dusted with sugar (or maybe it's faerie dust).
ReplyDeleteThank you, Celie. I'm afraid it's just peach fuzz, but, thank you! :D
DeleteI'm envious of all your home grown fruits, especially the lemons :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jules. I need to pick the last few lemons and freeze the juice for lemonade in the summer.
DeleteWell when you put it all together like that, you've grown quite the mass of fruit!
ReplyDeleteBravo!
(How perfect is this topic for you?)
Thank you, Debra. It was the perfect topic and at the right time, too, because all the peaches and most of the plums are finished, now.
