Well, I didn't follow the meal plan options that closely, but, I didn't veer too much from them, either.  I'm fine with all the little adjustments I made.

Moving forward, here's are the meal plan options for the last week in October:

Brunches:  Scrambled eggs and toast or fried potatoes; Waffles, Hot pockets; Boiled mung beans, milkrice (on Sunday, November 1st); Fried rice; leftovers

Dinners:  Chicken curry with vegetable rice (rice cooked with mixed vegetables and chicken bouillon); Tortillas and chicken curry; Breakfast for Dinner (scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes or toast); Chicken and vegetable soup; leftovers

Snacks/Desserts: Fresh fruit; Yogurt; Ice cream; Chips, crackers, popcorn, cookies, etc.

At least, that's the plan.  Unless I go off plan and make something different.

As always, I am grateful for:
- Having enough to eat
- Being able to have a variety of meals

Are you making a meal plan this week?

  1. Per usual, I have no meal plans. We have family visiting this week and our schedule, including meals, has been all over the place. I admire your discipline in making a plan every week and trying to stick to it.

    1. Family visiting is a good reason for not having a fixed schedule or a meal plan. Enjoy their visit. :)
Thank you; all I do is list some meals I think I'd like to eat and that are possible to make from what I have on hand at the beginning of the week. Sometimes, I stick to it. Sometimes, I make something different. :)

  2. Now I know what Japanese raisin buns look like - I think I would like them. Our family visit takeout on Saturday was quite a variety, I should have taken photos as we each had a different order.

    1. These ones looked like little knots, didn't they? I think you'd like them. I'm sure there would have been a nice assortment of food at your Saturday takeout meal. :)

  3. I usually do because I shop from my plan after checking pantry and fridge.

    1. Checking the pantry and fridge is important when meal planning, isn't it? We went a bit off plan, last night, and had something I had listed as "brunch" (hot pockets) for dinner! But, that's okay, too. :)
