I am actually, quite happy with how it turned out!  I kept to the plan for most of the week, with a few changes, here and there.

On to June's meal plans!

Brunches:  Milkrice, chicken curry and seeni sambol (Sunday; June 1); Scrambled egg, bacon, fried potatoes or toast; French toast; Tuna or Egg salad sandwiches; Uppuma (Indian style cream of wheat), Salads;  leftovers

Dinners:  Sauteed chicken, green beans, carrots; Smoked sausage stir fry; Lasagna; Chicken curry with rice and lentils; leftovers/planned overs.

Snacks/desserts: Banana muffins, peaches, apples, granola bars, crackers with peanut butter or tuna salad

The meal plan might change a bit as I am planning to do some grocery shopping, mid-week.

Will you be making a meal plan this week?

  1. I see your adding what look like peanuts and cashews to your dishes. We should do that more often for some added flavor.

    1. Yes, June, I like to add various nuts to various dishes. They add a little crunch and also, a little extra protein.

  2. Aha! I see you also use bottled raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing. It is a favourite of mine, especially if I add any kind of fruit to a salad. I'm building up a good supply of food now that we have been back a week, but salad dressing is back on my list for the next shopping trip.

    1. Thank you, Jules. It's easy to get in a rut with our weekly meals, isn't it? Maybe do an online search for meal plan ideas? Or ask Lily to help? Maybe she'll have some different ideas for meals. :)
