  1. The roses are beautiful. This post has made me realise I don't think I own anything pink. Xx

    1. You might have to do a search around your house! I seem to recall a certain young lady having a pair of pink wellies and maybe a pink jacket? Unless she's outgrown them and you've given them away. My house seems to be overrun with pink!

  3. IMO, pink is the best colour. Your roses are so gorgeous. I like your pink knitted blanket. Well done on the June photo challenge.

    1. It is a lovely color, isn't it? Thank you; the roses did well, this year. I knitted the blanket for my daughter when I was pregnant with her. I wanted to make it a small baby blanket, but, my mother encouraged me to make it bigger and I'm glad I did. :)

  4. Those are very pretty pink photos! I think my mother used to have a pair of pinking shears. Trust Dancer to find a way to be included!

  5. Beautiful pink roses and would you believe I knitted that exact same pattern for a cot blanket for my daughter when she was a baby. I like your photo selections especially Dancer in the pink of health :-)

    1. Thank you, Eileen. What a coincidence that you knitted the same pattern for your daughter! I, too, made the blanket for my daughter, intending it to be a baby blanket, but, my mother encouraged me to make it bigger; as a result, my daughter is able to use it on her bed, even now.

    1. Thank you, June. At first, I didn't think I'd have a lot of pink things to photograph, other than flowers in the garden. But, the more I looked, the more pink items I found and I wanted to tie them all together and, of course, find a way to get Dancer in there, too! :D

    1. Thank you, Celie. I had to get Dancer in there and he wouldn't stay on the pink blanket long enough for me to take a picture, so, I found another way to get him in! :D

  9. You got such a good variety! The roses are beautiful and I love that blanket you knitted - how clever you are. Now I wish I had borrowed Mum's pinking shears - they used to fascinate me when I was little! I am glad to hear that Dancer is now back in the pink. He's been a bit of a worry lately.

Many thanks for joining in this time, Bless xx

  11. I have a fondness for pink so I really enjoyed your images :)
Such lovely pink roses to start us off.
I really love the shading and raised texture of that blanket. And the shade of pink of the candle is lovely.
A color, a noun and an adjective. And you showed the all.
