I had another bout of nausea last night. Then, took an anti-nausea pill at 11:00 p.m. and went to bed. Woke up around 3:00 a.m. feeling fine and so, I ate a fruit cup before going back to sleep. Got up and took another anti-nausea pill at 8:30 a.m., drank some lemonade. Haven't eaten anything yet, as I feel ever so slightly nauseated. Just hoping it'll go away if I ignore it.
Cousin called to say she's on her way. Daughter will be home tonight (and then, she'll be home until after New Year's).
I'll be going in for a follow-up visit with the oncologist, tomorrow, to go over blood test results and have hydration. If the white blood cell count is too low, they will give me injections, they said, to stimulate cell production (which can cause bone pain, they said; I'm hoping the cell count is OK).
Today, I am grateful for:
- Anti-nausea drugs
- Fruit cups
- Cousin visiting
- Daughter coming home
- Everyone's thoughts and prayers
I hope you are all having a lovely day. Take care of yourselves during this busy time of the year.
I am so sorry that the nausea is still hanging on.. praying it will go away completely. Also praying the blood work, will be good.
ReplyDeleteHugs and prayers.
Thank you, Judy. Finally starting to feel better, today!
DeleteGood idea to eat the fruit cup at 3 am. I guess you have to make the most of any time you do feel you can eat something. I hope Friday's tests went well and that you didn't need any more "nasties".
