I am fine and back to normal, today!
Anytime I wake up feeling hungry and contemplating making French toast for breakfast, you know I'm feeling fine. :D
I had no problems with nausea today and definitely no problems with my appetite! Quite the opposite, in fact, because I was constantly eating!
I wrote out most of my holiday cards, this morning; have a few more to go. Did a load of dishes in the dishwasher.
In the afternoon, one of my friends came to visit me and kept me company while daughter ran a few errands and did some shopping. Friend swept my living room area for me, which was very kind of her. Daughter brought back ice cream cones for us as a treat! (Last week, I had no liking for ice cream, when asked!)
Cousin brought over a package of specialty rice and curries wrapped in banana leaf, which I shared with daughter for dinner. Did I mention my appetite was back?
Later in the evening, we had a shower of rain, which was such a blessing! I won't have to water my garden, this week!
Tomorrow, I have another injection scheduled in the morning. Afterwards, I plan to finish my cards and do some paperwork while daughter works on her thesis proposal (which is due by the end of the week).
Today, I am grateful for:
- Feeling back to normal
- Friend visiting and doing some house cleaning for me
- Cousin bringing dinner
- Daughter treating me to an ice cream cone
- A rain shower to water the garden
How was your Sunday? Hope you all had a lovely day.
Yay! So happy you are feeling better! My Sunday was good. The weather was nice so we took Little Wolf to the park and then I finally got all the Christmas shopping done
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet he loved the trip to the park. Good job getting all the shopping done, too.
DeleteI am doing the "happy dance"...so happy that you are feeling so good, and that your appetite is back.. Eat and enjoy... hugs and prayers sent for you and daughter.
ReplyDeleteWe had a quiet /good Sunday.. We went to church, and when I got home, I wrapped Gifts and hubby took a nap .ha
Thank you, Judy. Sounds like a lovely Sunday. Wrapping gifts is one of my favorite activities! Have a blessed Monday.
DeleteSo good to hear that you had a good Sunday with food!!
ReplyDeleteI made mince pies and cookies in the afternoon, while listening to Christmas CDs.
Bushlady
Thank you, Bushlady. Ooh, mince pies! I have a recipe for mincemeat, clipped from a British magazine in the early 1970s, which says it's based on a recipe from the early 1920s! But I haven't made my own mincemeat in years. Maybe next year. :)
DeleteYou sound wonderful Bless! So so happy for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carolyn! I feel I am back to my normal self again!
