    1. Lucky you to have zucchini! I planted several zucchini plants and none of them grew this year. I have frozen zucchini in prior years - grated (for zucchini bread) or cut into chunks.

  3. The freezer contents are a little low at the moment, but I do have two chicken carcasses in there that need to be dealt with to make chicken soup!

    1. Chicken soup will be lovely once the days start to cool off a bit. Although, I did have some soup for dinner, last night, and it was good. :)

  4. Home made scrambled eggs are always better I think

    1. Thank you, Angela. Even if we can't taste much of a difference, fresh eggs from our own chickens are a novelty and a treat! :)

  5. I love seeing your menus, and I can't wait to see how you use the eggs!
Please pass on a gentle stroke over the feathers from me.

    1. Thank you, Lyssa. You'll be seeing more egg dishes in my meal plans in the future, no doubt! :D I passed on a gentle stroke from you to them. Niwatori (the black & white one) likes being petted; Henny Penny (the reddish brown one) is still a bit skittish.

  6. Chocolate mousse cake and chocolate chip cookies are my idea of perfect snacks (which is probably why my body looks like it does)
